Finished a chapter titled “Estimating trends in ptarmigan numbers” with Olafur Nielsen that will be in the book “Applied raptor ecology: essentials from Gyrfalcon research”, with editors D.L. Anderson, C.J.W. McClure, and A. Franke, published by The Peregrine Fund, Boise, Idaho, USA. The chapter extended work we did over ten years ago in Iceland.
